“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not wont.” Psalms 23:1. On July 1, 2 and 3, the class of 1968 will celebrate their 50th year of being proud graduates of Sadie V. Thompson High School.

The class of 1968 is one of the largest classes as well as the best class to graduate from Sadie V. Thompson High School.

We give honor and praise to God and His wonderful son Jesus Christ. We are thankful for our classmates who are still alive and can acknowledge this occasion.

Many of our classmates have gone to be with the Lord and they are truly in our hearts. We will have memorial moments for our deceased classmates.

The reunion committee is working diligently to ensure classmates enjoyment for this 50th year reunion. We are reaching out to the community to assist us in locating and contacting classmates. Classmates, if you would like to participate, please contact the reunion committee.

If anyone has relatives or knows someone who graduated with this class, inform them of the reunion plans and encourage them to contact a committee member.

Classmates can contact the committee through Facebook or attend meetings on second and fourth Sundays at 5 p.m. at the W.A. Edney Masonic Temple on Aldrich Street. Check The Natchez Democrat’s Tracings. The committee president is Charles Moore.

The theme for the reunion is, “Still Here and Holding On.” The events include church service, get acquainted evening, picnic and banquet evening.

So, SVT Class of ’68, we are looking forward to hearing from you.
