FERRIDAY — Services for Cody Allen Flowers, 25, of Ferriday, who died Friday, April 20, 2018, in Natchez, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Ferriday under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Cody Allen Flowers was born Nov. 23, 1992, in Natchez, the son of Burnice Leon Allen Jr. and Hope Bryant Wilson. Not only did the world lose a beautiful flower, but we lost a beautiful soul.

Cody made everyone feel beautiful, wanted and loved every second he took a breath. Even if it was a single look, a flower he picked while walking, or a slight touch of his hand. The world will be a darker place without our dear Rabbit.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Burnice Leon Allen Sr. and George Lester Wilson; three uncles, Michael Douglas Allen, Terry Paul Applegate and Gerald Wayne Wilson; one aunt, Stella Marie Franklin; and the lady he called mom, Bunny Jones.

Survivors include his parents; paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Caraway; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Ford Wilson; three aunts, Jennifer Allen Ray, Pam Roberts and Christy Martin; six uncles, Eddie Allen, Joey Allen, Jerry Wilson, Larry Wilson, Mike Wilson and Bryan Roberts; extended family, Eddie Jones, Teddi Jones, Jordy Jones, Jared Jones and Felicity Merritt; and a number of cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Micah Graves, Joshua Melton, Jordan Pugh, Corey James, Jordy Jones and Jared Jones.
