Byrnsie and Patricia Marks of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Marks to Corey Partin, son Jim and Deborah Partin of Hollister, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Cosmetology in Wesson. She is employed by Anruss in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter H.H. and Kathleen Harrison of Natchez and Bobby Marks and the late Neet Marks of Lake St. John.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Faith Christian Academy in Amory and is employed by Nissan in Canton.

He is the grandson of the late Lillian Jones Hancock, Alton and Veralee Wilkerson, Larry and Barbara Peterson, all of Franklin County, and the late William and Peggy Partin of Liberty.

The wedding will be 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents at 26 McDuck Sanctuary Road in Natchez.

Family and friends are invited.
