NATCHEZ — Services for Mahalia G. “Mussie” Williams, 78, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 26, 2018, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Sibley with the Rev. Douglas Logan Sr. officiating.   

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Survivors include a loving, caring and devoted daughter, Pearlie Mack and husband, Jesse, of Natchez; two grandchildren, Jesse Mack Jr. and Jessica Mack of Natchez; one great-grandchild, Carlton “CJ” Lowe Jr. of Natchez; seven siblings, Jimmie Green and wife, Sarah, Queen Profit, Shirley Mack, Eva Smith, all of Natchez, Geneva Wesley and husband, Louis, of Zachary, La., George Reynolds and wife, Mary, of Chicago, and Hattie Wayne of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother-in-law, Lee Andrew Williams of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
