JONESVILLE — Services for Estelle Greene “Guy” Campbell of Wildsville, La., who died Sunday, May 6, 2018, in Wildsville, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evangeline Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler, the Rev. Marion “Jr.” Trisler and the Rev. Curtis Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home. The Rev. John Rushing will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Ms. Campbell was born in New Era, La. She was a graduate of Monterey High School, graduating as valedictorian. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife who will be greatly missed by a number of nieces, nephews and friends. She was the beloved wife for 45 years to Bobby Campbell of Wildsville.
Estelle was preceded in death by three brothers, T.L., Emmett and Raymond Greene and two sisters, Vera Dee Ford and Needra Collins.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Bearden and Sharon B. James and husband, Gary, two grandchildren, Michael Bearden and Bradley James and wife, Ann; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah Bearden and Aidan James.
Special thanks to Angie Harris, Jesse Credle, Lavon King and Alice Pecanty for their wonderful care and loving kindness.
Pallbearers will be Bradley James, John Myles, Aaron Wade, Scott Johnson, John Ferguson, Nick Ferguson, Brent Gucho and Dwayne Hall.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces, nephews and sweet olives.
