COLUMBUS, Miss. — A Mississippi woman was arrested after reportedly running over her boyfriend.

WCBI reports the victim said he and his girlfriend, Kayln Weber Latham, were leaving a friend’s home after the pair had an argument.

She was driving a vehicle and he was on a motorcycle. Lowndes County deputies said the victim was making a turn when Latham allegedly ran over him. She stopped the vehicle then fled the scene on foot. She was later arrested on Military Road.

Latham, 25, is charged with aggravated assault domestic violence as well as simple assault on a law enforcement officer and possession of marijuana.

The victim was treated and released from an area hospital.
