MAGNOLIA — Services for Ida Simmons Patterson, 76, who died Monday, April 30, 2018, in Los Banos, Calif., will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sherman Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia with the Rev. Michael Otkins Sr. officiating.      

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Peoples Undertaking Company of McComb.

Mrs. Patterson was born Jan. 4, 1942, in Magnolia, the daughter of Johnnie and Johnnie B. Simmons.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her husband, Freddie Patterson; three children, Linda and Bonita Patterson and Cassandra Daniels and husband, Danny; her mother; three sisters, Artis Butler and husband, Charles, Gloria Thomas and husband, Joseph, and Diane Clines-Sanders and husband, Fred; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
