NATCHEZ — Services for Daphne Louise White, 56, of Zachary, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Baton Rouge General Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel, West Gate Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Stanton officiating.         

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Ms. White was born Sept. 1, 1961, in Natchez, the daughter of Robert Anderson and Josie Marie King.

She was educated in the Natchez-Adams County school district and was a licensed cosmetologist, as well as a customer service representative.

Daphne was a member of the New Nation Church in Garland, Texas. She enjoyed social media, reading and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Byron S. White.

Survivors include her special friend, Donald Allen; one son, Barry L. White; two daughters, Ursula V. Fulks and Yaminha S. White; two brothers, Clarence R. White and Lionel Anderson; four sisters, Marceline White, Jacqueline Harris, Patricia Sessions and Brenda Minor; one aunt, Debra Evans Knapp; two uncles, Raymond Evans and Michael Anderson Jr.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
