JONESVILLE — Services for Sheila Ratcliff Paul, 63, who died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Jonesville Church of God with the Rev. Marion Trisler Jr., the Rev. Terry Deville, the Rev. Tim Crooks and the Rev. Brad Crooks officiating.         

Burial will follow at Eva Church of God Cemetery in Monterey, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria, La.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. today until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Paul loved to cook and feed her family, loved pets, loved her church family and playing the piano. The Lord and her family were the two most important things in her life.

Mrs. Paul was preceded in death by her parents, Joe L. “Jay” Ratcliff and Mable Crouch Ratcliff.

Survivors include her husband, Pervon Paul; two daughters, Jan Paul and Jessie Paul Gaspard and husband, David; one brother, Billy Joe Ratcliff and wife, Carolyn; three nieces, Annie Ratcliff Sance and husband, Glenn, Jennie Ratcliff Rogers and husband , Tim, and Rebecca Ratcliff Simmons and husband, Ralph; two great-nephews, Britt Overton and Austin Overton; two great-nieces, Hanah Sance and Ainslee Simmons; one great-great-nephew, Drake Overton; special son-in-law, Bryan Alexander; and a number of cousins and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Simmons, Tim Rogers, Glenn Sance, James Whtie, Britt Overton, Austin Overton, Ethan Crooks, Marty Crooks, Ed Rutledge and Buddy Boy Dupuis.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Lee Paul, Greg Poole, Eddie Poole, Melba Pugh, Tim Poole, Ronald Poole, Bryan Alexander, Tommy Lewis, Brunston Crouch, Phyliss Netherland, Debbi Hamilton, Debbie Bairnsfather, Diane Fancher, Connie Mulvihill, James Miller Crouch, Charlotte Broussard, Gayle Simonton and Cheryl Crouch.

Special thanks to her home dialysis family at Fresenius Dialysis Center, especially Phillip Merrill and Alisa LaDeaux.
