Rocky and Jacqueline Frye announce the engagement of their daughter, NaKita Frye to Riccardo Newell, son of Randall Newell Sr. and the late Joyce Newell, all of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School and a graduate of Alcorn State University. She is employed by Picayune School District as a school counselor.

She is the granddaughter of the late Annie Lee Gamble and the late Frank Gable of Cannonsburg and the late Mertis Frye of Fayette.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. He is currently a student at Ashford University, majoring in psychology. He is employed by Aaron’s as a customer accounts advisor in Picayune.

He is the grandson of the late Frank Woods Sr. and the late Clementine Woods, the late Albert Newell and the late Grace Loving of Detroit.

The wedding will be 4 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Cannonsburg.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
