Mr. and Mrs. Gary Penny of Burlington, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Wade Gateley, of Colorado Springs, Colo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirsten Lynne Gateley to Edward Fenwick Daly IV, son of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Daly of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Boulder High School in Burlington and a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in integrative physiology. She is employed by Boulder Medical Center and plans to continue her studies toward becoming a physician’s assistant.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal High School in Ridgeland and also a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in biochemistry. He is employed by miRagen Therapeutics in Boulder as a clinical trial associate and plans to earn his master of business administration while continuing his career in clinical development.

He is the grandson of Edward and Astrid Daly of Natchez and Wayne and Mercedes Wells of Mandeville, La.

The wedding will be at the Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, Colo., in September.
