NATCHEZ — Services for Gwendolyn Washington “Mama G” Stewart, 55, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 21, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Word of Faith Ambassadors Worship Center with the Rev. Robert Cade officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Stewart was born March 30, 1963, in Natchez, the daughter of Eddie L. Burns and Annie L. Hillard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Trevallis J. Washington; one daughter, RiShanda Thomas; and one aunt, Ruby L. Davis of Los Angeles.

Survivors include three loving children, Rebecca Thomas, Rineshia Thomas and Richard Thomas Jr.; goddaughter, Jerrica Jackson; nine grandchildren, Justice Grayson, Justin Thomas, Taylin Thomas, Talia Thomas, Richard Thomas III, Jayceon Thomas, Jakell Hawkins, Irvin Hawkins Jr. and TraCareon Hawkins; one niece, Miranda Washington; two nephews, Trevor and Henry Washington Jr.; one brother, Henry Washington and wife, Cynthia; three uncles, Frank Hill and wife, Pearlina, Willie James and John Washington and wife, Flotie; two aunts, Gloria Davis and Maggie “Red” Lee; and a number of other relatives and friends.
