NATCHEZ — Services for Venson Grady Tillotson, 91, of Natchez, who died Monday, May 28, 2018, at Promise Rehabilitation Hospital, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Tillotson was born Jan. 2, 1927, in Lucien, the son of Henry Grady Tillotson and Katie Dickey Tillotson. He was a member of Washington Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Colby Collier; two sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Tillotson; four children, Deborah McDaniel and husband, Lloyd, of Roxie, Donna Green, Marlene Freeman and husband, Larry, all of Natchez, and Howard Collier and wife, Stephanie, of Arkansas; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Collier, Micah Collier, Kendall Collier, Josiah Collier, Shae Collier and Chase Freeman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Courtney Freeman, Lee Knapp and Mac McDaniel.
