FAYETTE — Services for Inez Costley Carnegie, 79, of Harriston, who died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fayette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Fayette Cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home in Fayette.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Carnegie was born Oct. 25, 1938, in Warren County, the daughter of Johnny and Causey Thomas Costley.

She was a member of Fayette United Methodist Church where she served on a number of boards. She was a longtime member of the Order of Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her family; loved her flowers and yard; and traveling and playing golf with her friends. She retired from Jefferson County Tax Collector and Assessor’s Office.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one son, Ricky Carnegie and wife, Sherry, of Brandon; two daughters, Debbie Perry and husband, David, of Harriston, and Lisa Martin of Natchez; four grandchildren, Dustin Perry and significant other, Drew Key, of Natchez, Wes Carnegie of Virginia, Zach Carnegie and significant other, Jordan Gill, of Atlanta, and Tanner Martin; one sister, Bobbie Leggett of Raymond; two brothers-in-law, Bob Carnegie and significant other, Katie Wheat, and Vernon Haygood of Liberty; and family member, Elisie Shorter of Harriston.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Perry, Wes Carnegie, Zach Carnegie, Tanner Martin, Dennis Parker and Christopher Perry.
