MONTREREY — Services for Archie Dalton Geoghegan, 73, of Fayette, who died Monday, June 11, 2018, in Woodville, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Monterey First Baptist Church, 5555 Louisiana 129, with the Rev. John Rushing officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Geoghegan was born Jan 13, 1945, in Fayette, the son of Archie Vaughn Geoghegan and Bessie Perry Geoghegan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lonnie A. Geoghegan.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Prier and husband, Ron, of Eupora, and Rachel Passinger and fiancé, Mitchell McGraw, of Woodville; one son, Lonny Geoghegan and wife, Kris, of Monterey; 12 grandchildren, Ashton Emfinger, Megan Tomlinson, Alex Prier, Dustin Emfinger, Winston Woodward, Aryn Prier, Will McGraw, Braden Passinger, Neely Passinger, Abbie Geoghegan, Wyatt Geoghegan and Morgan Geoghegan; seven great-grandchildren, Kinley Potts, Kohen Potts, Madi Thomlinson, Waylon Brown, Brantley Tomlinson, Hayes McGraw and Ava Prier.

The family extends thanks to Compassus Hospice, Dr. Bob Lewis, Sara Kinabrew and the number of families and friends for their support and love during this time.
