NATCHEZ – Services for Helen Delois Boyte, 94, of Natchez, who died June 12, 2018, at her residence, will be 1 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robbie Britt.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boyte was born March 19, 1924, in Green County, the daughter of Robert E. Bass and Carrie Jackson Bass. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tommy Greene; six brothers, Jack Bass, Ronnie Earl Bass, Kenny Bass, Paul Bass, Barney Hayes Bass and Herman Bass; two sisters, Virgie Sullivan and Viola Smith; one granddaughter, Cherie Sanders; one great-grandson, Paul Stuart Skinner.

Survivors include five daughters, Carolyn Sanders and husband, Sonny, Carrie Thomas and husband, Jim, Joyce Thornton, Patty Greene and Dyan Martin and husband, David; three sons, Robert Greene and wife, Shirley, Douglas Greene and wife, Charlene, and Mark McNease and husband, Frank; one sister, Jeweldean McInnis; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mark Sanders, Mike Sanders, Eric Skinner, Mike Greene, Tommy Greene and Luke Martin.

The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
