NATCHEZ — Services for Ike McDonald Sr., 64, of Natchez, who died Thursday, June 7, 2018, in Natchez, will be noon Saturday at Free Springs Baptist Church in Doloroso.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral  Home.                        

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service at 7 p.m.

Visitation will continue Saturday from 11 a.m. until service at the church.

Mr. McDonald was born June 17, 1953, in Wilkinson County, the son of Arthur McDonald and Janie McDonald.

He was a 1971 graduate of Wilkinson County High School and was the owner of Ike’s Auto Spa.

He was a member of Free Springs Baptist Church.

Ike enjoyed football, basketball, spending time with family and friends. He also loved hats and was a sporty dresser.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Arthur McDonald Jr.; and one sister, Bertha Lee McDonald.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl McDonald; four sons, Mizell Noble and wife, Naila, Jonathan McDonald and wife, April, Ike McDonald Jr. and Herschel McDonald; two daughters, Temekia McDonald and Eboni Webber; two brothers, Johnny McDonald and Fred McDonald; three sisters, Mollie Long, Shirley Wells and Martha Griffin and husband, Alvin; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
