Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lee Davis of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Shawnese Andrea Davis to Terrance Terrell Herrington, son of Mr. Terry and Mrs. Tina Herrington of Cannonsburg and Fayette.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School, a graduate of Alcorn State University and University of Southern Mississippi, where she received her doctorate of philosophy in educational administration. She is employed by Bailey Education Group LLC, as an educational consultant.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Harvesta Woods and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Davis Sr., all of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Natchez High School. He is employed by Nissan North America in Canton.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Herrington Sr. of Cannonsburg and Ms. L.V. Frye of Fayette.

The wedding will be 5 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Castle Hill Pavilion in Florence.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
