NATCHEZ — Services for Pearl L. Hooker, 93, of Natchez, who died Monday, June 18, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 10 a.m. today at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Schiele officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Hooker was born July 12, 1924, in Brookhaven, the daughter of Hosmer Cameron Sr. and Mozella Cain Cameron.

She was retired. She was also a member of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a mother of the church.

Mrs. Hooker was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Hooker; two sons, James and Ronell Hooker; and her parents.

Survivors include one son, Donell Hooker; godchild, Tracy; two grandchildren, Markest and Isaac Hooker; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
