NATCHEZ — Services for Fannie Mae “Hank” Gaines Thompson, 80, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White and the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.   

Burial will follow at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home with a celebration of life wake service from 5 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Thompson was retired from Natchez- Adams School District.

Survivors include four children, Willie Mae Gaines Johnson and husband, Joseph, twins John and James Thompson and wife, Maxine, and Joann Jackson and husband, Theodore.
