Two arrests made in connection with string of auto burglaries

VIDALIA — Vidalia Police Department investigators have arrested two people in connection to a string of auto burglaries.
“Vidalia Police Department has been working diligently to apprehend suspects involved in a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred between Monday night and Tuesday morning,” a police spokesman said.
Arrested are 19-year-old Jarred Thompson, who is charged with aggravated burglary and illegal possession of stolen things and Iren Rogers, 17, who is charged with four counts of aggravated burglary and three counts of simple burglary.
“No further details can be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing,” police said.
