Michael and Diane Rice of Woodville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Rice to Eric St. Cyr, son of Michael and Johnet St. Cyr of Opelousas, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville and the University of Texas in Arlington. She is employed by St. Landry Parish School District in Eunice, La.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mack and Patricia Bunch and the late Owen and Alice Rice, all of Woodville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Opelousas High School and is employed by Greenbush Logistics in Mansura, La.

He is the grandson of Anthony and Jane Briscoe of Opelousas and the late Alex and Myrtle St. Cyr.

The wedding will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, at Crosspoint Church in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
