NATCHEZ — Services for Bettye Ruth Baldwin Lucas, 74, of Natchez, who died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Marshall Funeral Home’s Natchez Chapel with Chad McNeal officiating.      
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lucas was born Feb. 7, 1944, in Chicago, the daughter of Richard and Vivian Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard “Bug” Baldwin Jr.
Survivors include her loving husband, Tony “Bubba” Lucas; one son, Richard Anthony Lucas; one daughter, Ariana Carter and husband, Cedric; seven grandchildren, LaDarrian “L.J.,” Aja Ruth, Aleria, Kameron, Kayla, Ma’Khia and Ayante; two sisters, Vivian “Telo” Bottoms of Chicago and Irene Hall of Georgia; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
