NATCHEZ — Services for Linda “Diane” White Bacon, 68, of Natchez, who died Monday, July 2, 2018, at Merit Health Central, will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church.
Ms. Bacon was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Lewis White and Lena Douglas Brady.
Bacon was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, McKinley and Lauretta Douglas; one grandson, Jessie Taylor Jr.; two sisters, Mary West and Jacqueline Fye; and two brothers, Joseph White and James Brady.
Survivors include one son, Jessie Taylor Sr. and his friend, Shonda; her father; one granddaughter, Jessica Taylor; three sisters, Elaine White, Patricia Sims and Wanda Jones; three brothers, James White, Dwight Douglas and Tommy Brady and wife, Ann; one godchild, Mary Sims; two aunts, Melissa Antley and Carrie Douglas; stepmother, Catherine White; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
