FERRIDAY — Memorial services for Roy Gene Crelia, 81, of Ferriday, who died Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Pineville, La., will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Crelia was born Jan. 29, 1937, in McNeil, Ark., the son of Marion Crelia and Evie Barnette Crelia.
Crelia proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce Crelia; two brothers, Ray Crelia and Tommy Crelia; one sister, Margurite Kirby; and stepdaughter, Sandra Phillips.
Survivors include two sons, Victor Crelia of Fredricksburg, Va. and Roy Crelia Jr. of Alexandria, La.; one daughter, Vicki Cothren and husband, David, of Natchez; stepson, Tony Mulvihill of Arlington, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans Hospital in Pineville.
