NATCHEZ — Services for Julia F. Woods, 79, of Natchez, who died Thursday, July 26, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Sibley with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.            

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.

Ms. Woods was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Natchez, the daughter of Winston Fagan Sr. and Julia Clark Fagan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Winston Fagan Jr. and Roosevelt Fagan Sr.

Survivors include five children, Larry Woods Sr. and wife, Bonita, Dietrich Woods, Linda Moore and husband, Cedric, Marilyn Woods and Qwana Carter and husband, Jumanne; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
