Charles and Kim Falkenheiner of Vidalia proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Katharine Lynn Falkenheiner to Christopher Michael King, son of William King III and Lorie Bowers of New Orleans.

The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Vidalia High School and is employed by Concordia Bank and Trust.

The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Covington High School in Covington, La., and is employed by the Vidalia Police Department.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at Dunleith Plantation.

A reception will follow at 7 p.m. at Bowie’s Tavern.
