NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Samuel Murray Mohon Jr., 82, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Edgar Wright officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Mohon was born Feb. 8, 1936, in Henderson, Texas, the son of Samuel Murray Mohon Sr. and Maudie Lee Moore Mohon.
He was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death in death by his parents and one son, Mack Leshe Mohon.
Survivors include his wife, Annett L. Mohon; three sons, Samuel Murray Mohon III and wife, Esther, of Natchez, Rex Elliott Mohon and wife, Connie, of Brookhaven, and Lee Alan Mohon of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren, Louisa M. Shows and husband, Aaron, of Hattiesburg, Samuel Stowers Mohon of Starkville, Whitney Michelle Mohon, Wesley Dane Mohon, both of Hattiesburg, and Logan Bryce Mohon of Brookhaven; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
