South Pike 44, Franklin County 6

MAGNOLIA — Franklin County High School struggled to move the ball offensively and its defense also had problems controlling South Pike High School’s running game as the Eagles soared to a 44-6 win over the Bulldogs Friday night.

The only highlight for Franklin County’s offense was an 86-yard touchdown run by Darrien Jackson with 3:40 remaining until halftime. However, the Bulldogs still trailed 22-6 and would get no closer.
