VIDALIA — A Wildsville community man was being held Monday in the Concordia Parish Jail on domestic abuse charges and two counts of resisting with force as well as two counts of battery on a police officer, officials said.
Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy David Hedrick said deputies responded to a domestic abuse call in Wildsville on Sunday to find a woman with a possibly broken finger.
Hedrick said the female victim was transported to Riverland Medical Center to be treated for the injury to her finger and a possible concussion.
Deputies, Hedrick said, arrested Stephen A. Hudnall, 52, of 1347 Loop Road, Wildsville, on domestic abuse charges.
“When they put him in the car, he turned around and kicked a deputy in the chest,” Hedrick said, “and he committed a battery on the other deputy.”
Hedrick said neither deputy was injured seriously and Hudnall was being held with no bond until he has a magistrate hearing.
