FERRIDAY — Services for Phyllis Ann Stephens, 52, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Monterey First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Rushing officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stephens was born Aug. 24, 1965, the daughter of Reginald P. Carter and Annie Bell Carter.   She was a member of Monterey First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald P. Carter; grandparents, R.P. Carter and Nettie Carter; mother-in law, Ella Rose Davis; one aunt, Shirley Carter Brown; one cousin, Tawana Carter Brewer; and one loving niece, Madilyn Faith Ellis.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Wayne Stephens; her mother, Annie Bell “Pat” Carter; three daughters, Amber Stephens, Gabrielle Stephens and Anabelle “Eyeball” Stephens; one brother, Jerome Carter and wife, Melissa; 11 grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Kimberly Danielle Ellis; life-long friend, Eugena Green; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Ellis, Bryan Stephens, Danny Brown, Buck Robinson, Ben Bowers and Bobby Teer.
