NATCHEZ — Services for Markia Synclair Sullivan, 13, of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at her residence, will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Hope “The Vision Center” Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis Sullivan officiating.  
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Markia was born Dec. 1, 2004, in Natchez, the daughter of Marcus and Tangela Sullivan.
She was a student at Robert Lewis Magnet School.
Sullivan was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elaine Hickombottom; great-grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Frank Sullivan; Virginia Green and Elijah Hickombottom Sr.; one uncle, Patrick Sullivan; one great-uncle, Elijah Hickombottom Jr.; and one great-great-aunt, Lucille Spates.
Survivors include her parents; one sister, Jermia Page; grandparents, Lamar and Christine Green; and a number of other relatives and friends.
