FERRIDAY — Services for Richard Loranze Ezell, 71, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, September 01, 2018, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Pentecostals of the Miss Lou with Bishop Gary Howington and Bro. Jeremy Howington officiating.

Internment will follow at South Central Cemetery in Wisner under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Richard Ezell was born on Thursday, October 31, 1946, in Wisner, the son of Johnny and Helen Myers Ezell. He was a resident of Ferriday and a member of the Pentecostals of the Miss-Lou.

Richard proudly served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Myers Ezell; one son, Mickey Charles King and his wife, Shane; two step-sons, Jerry Lee Myers and his wife, Tara, and Cory Matthew Myers; two sisters, Delois Blakely and her husband, Joe, and Peggy Ezell, all of Ferriday; two grandsons, Dillon King and his wife, Emma, and Tanner King; one granddaughter, Mackenzie King; two great-grandchildren, Shanley King and Dawson King; and special niece, Connie Lovell.

Pallbearers will be Chris Groh, Bob Roberts, Jay Evans, Jack Little, Wiley Carter, Chad Murray, Rickey Cain and Dusty Lemoine

Honorary Pallbearer will be Joe Blakely.
