Claude and Christi Rabb of Ferriday and Whest and Dara Shirley of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Whestley Elizabeth Shirley to Austin Timothy Harrison, son of Tim and Mashelle Harrison of Philadelphia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.

She is the granddaughter of Paul and Faye Arnold of Meadville, Linda Shirley of Vidalia and the late Robert Shirley and Tommy and Cheryl Probst of Vidalia.

Great-grandparents of the bride are Christine Turner of Meadville and Kenneth Cranford of Columbia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Neshoba Central High School in Philadelphia and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. He is employed by Central Mississippi Land and Timber in Philadelphia.

He is the grandson of Frank and Sarah Luke, the late Truitt Harrison and Billy and Linda Bryan, all of Philadelphia.

The wedding will be 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Vidalia.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center.
