CHEF of Baton Rouge, which is an 11-man football team in an independent conference for homeschooled students or students who attend private academies that do not have a football program, lost last weekend to Cathedral High School’s Green Wave 40-0.

ACCS Coach David King said he invited CHEF to play ACCS tonight because he did not want ACCS to have an open spot on their calendar.

ACCS is currently 2-0 and their first scheduled game got canceled due to inclement weather.

“We have 24 names on our roster, and all are contributing to this team,” King said, adding he wants his team to remain humble and low key, because he wants to surprise some people this year.
