NATCHEZ — Services for Willie Belle Drumgoole Stephens, 97, of Florence, who died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018, in Florence, will be 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Terry Fant officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Stephens was born Aug. 1, 1921, in Lewis, La., the daughter of Willie Dromgoole and Ida Belle McKee Dromgoole.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Vidalia, where she served as secretary of the Lydia Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard W. Stephens; one sister, Dorothy Boyd; and two brothers, Paul Dromgoole and James Dromgoole.
Survivors include one son, Richard G. Stephens and wife, Margaret, of Florence; three grandchildren, Robin Russum, Mitchel Stephens and Michael Stephens Sr. and fiancée, Michelle Slay, all of Florence; six great-grandchildren, Michael Stephens Jr. and wife, Shelby, of Pensacola, Fla., Evan Russum, Aiden Russum, Owen Russum, Andrew Slay and Elijah Slay, all of Florence; one niece and one nephew: Diane Binkley and Mike Boyd, both of Birmingham, Ala.; and a number of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
