Jefferson County 32, South Delta 14

ROLLING FORK — The Jefferson County High School Tigers turned to their ground game to defeat the South Delta High School Bulldogs 32-14 Friday night.

Domonique Gaines led the Tigers’ rushing attack with 21 carries for 243 yards and two touchdowns. Limarvin Smith Jr. added 104 yards on just nine carries while Jaheime Herrington and Gailrontae Fells each had touchdown runs.

Jefferson County (2-1) plays at Terry High School at 7 p.m. Friday.
