WATERPROOF – A memorial service for Lowell “Andre” Scott, 56, of Dallas, who died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, after surrendering his lengthy and courageous battle to remain here, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof.    
Mr. Scott was born Jan. 14, 1962, in Newellton, La., immediately following the birth of his twin sister, Lori Ann, to Thomas E. and Ruby L. Scott.
He served as the family patriarch, a faithful and beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend who always made his presence known with warmth and laughter. He will be profoundly missed and affectionately remembered by all who knew and loved him.
