Nancy Carol Rodgers

SLIDELL, La. — A celebration of life for Nancy Carol Rodgers, 75, who died Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at Bethany Lutheran Open Arms Church, 1340 Eighth St., Slidell, La., with Rod Pasch officiating.
A reception will follow the services at the church.
Ms. Rodgers was born Sept. 19, 1942, in Jackson, the daughter of Sonny Rodgers and Ida Mae Thiel.
She graduated from Charity Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse and worked as a registered nurse until retiring in 2017. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sisters. She also loved celebrating Mardi Gras, the Saints and collecting anything Fleur-de-lis.
Rodgers was preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Aaron Michael Hussey.
Survivors include three sons, Michael P. Hussey Jr. and wife, Pam, David B. Hussey and Aaron P. Hussey; two daughters, Anne Hussey Campo and husband, Eric, and Beth Hussey Butler and husband, Brad; two sisters, Betty Rodgers and Sherry Colwell; nine grandchildren, Samantha Hussey, Blake Campo, Mindy Cousté, Kristy Hussey, Brandon Campo, Sage Butler, Avery Butler, Lindsey Joseph and Caroline Buchtel; three great-grandchildren, Tea, Cason and Aria; and a number of extended family and friends.
She also leaves behind her dogs, Rocky and Bruiser.
