LISMORE, La. — Services for Uel Beard Jr., 32, of Monterey, who died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Lismore Baptist Church with Cliff Randall, the Rev. Ken Gilmore and the Rev. Byron Gray officiating.
Burial will follow at Oswalt Cemetery in Lismore under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the church.
Mr. Beard was born Oct. 11, 1985, in Natchez, the son of Uel Beard Sr. and Gina Beard.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lovice Brady Beard Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Landon and Gunner Beard; his parents; one sister, Lana McCall and husband, Josh; maternal grandparents, George Stone Jr. and wife, Goldie; paternal grandmother, Ruth Beard; two nieces, Layla and Lida McCall, all of Monterey; and a number of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Cody Beard, Steve Hinton, Orrin Beard, Josh McCall, Health McNeely and Lamar Laprarie.
