Patten said he and deputies searched the house at 107-C Jackson St., and found two guns under the house.

One of the guns was a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol and the other a Daniel Defense M4 300 Blackout with a suppressor on the end of it, Patten said.

“One of the reasons we believe the guns may have been involved in recent shootings is because of the calibers used in the shootings,” Patten said.

He said the guns have been processed and have been sent to the state crime lab for DNA and fingerprint processing.
