Mrs. Kathy Bowden of Vidalia announces the engagement of her daughter, Kathlyn Brooke Bowden to Joseph Brandon Wiley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wiley of Acme, La.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Mr. Barry Lynn Bowden of Vidalia.

She is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is employed by Tillman Medical Group in Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marion Bowden and the late Jessie Bowden of Arkansas City, Ark., and Donald Counts and the late Frances Counts of Yazoo City.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Monterey High School and is employed by Noble Energy in Houston.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Nell Waltman and the late Ed Waltman of Lismore, La., and Mrs. Chris Wiley and the late Boyd Wiley of Acme.

The wedding will be 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at the Hotel Vue in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the ballroom.
