FERRIDAY — Services for Ralph Vernon Martin Jr., 62, of Vidalia, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, in Bastrop, La., will be 1 p.m. Monday at Young’s Funeral Home Ferriday Chapel.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Martin was born Nov. 24, 1955, in Winnsboro, La., the son of Ralph Vernon Martin Sr. and Shirley Boyter Connell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Sarah McAffry and husband, Ned, of Lake Village, Ark.; one son, Marion Curtis Martin of Vidalia; two grandsons, Logan Miller and Avery Martin; one granddaughter, Addison Miller; two brothers, Ronnie Gene Martin and wife, Sylvia, of Vidalia, and Lorin Dale Martin and wife, Tamara, of Rayville, La.; one sister, Helen Elizabeth Anderson and husband, Bobby, of Bastrop; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Martin, Christ Martin, Keith Andrews, Shane Martin, Ronnie Martin, Dale Martin, William Seyfarth and Logan Miller.
