RIDGECREST — Services for Eva Mae Johnson, 84, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Sept. 29, 2018, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church in Ridgecrest, with the Rev. Michael White officiating.
Burial will follow at the Vidalia Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Johnson was born July 15, 1934, in Learned, the last child of Henry and Cordelia Lutcher McKenzie.
She was a faith member of St. James Baptist Church where she served as the assistant church secretary.
Survivors include two sons, Keith Johnson and wife, Rebecca, of Katy, Texas, and Thomas Johnson and wife, Tammy, of Iowa, La.; two daughters, Helen Johnson Jenkins of Memphis, Texas, and Brenda Washington and husband, Keith, of Vidalia; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; former employers, Thomas and Pokey O’Beirne of Natchez; and a very special friend and neighbor, Catherine L. Cartwright and husband, Oliver, of Vidalia.
