David Preston Webb

WATERPROOF — Services for David Preston Webb, 65, of Ama, La., formerly of Waterproof, who died Oct. 12, 2018, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Michael Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Pinhook Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Webb was born on Feb. 16, 1953 in Waterproof, the son of Charles and Janie Tinson.

Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Patricia Knapper Webb, seven siblings and two grandchildren.

Survivors include son, David Webb Jr. of Ama; two daughters, Dawn W. Hunter and her husband, Azuree, of Harvey, La. and Nykeshia Schexnayder of Terrytown, La.; four brothers, Leslie Webb of Ferriday, Willie Webb of Waterproof, Shone Webb and his wife, Katina, of Avondale, La., and Willie Shields of New Orleans; four sisters, Rebecca McCrainey of New Orleans, Clara Knapper and Carrie Louise Donald both of Marrero, La., and Martha Washington of Clayton; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
