Block still looking for first win of season against Arcadia
JONESVILLE — The Block High School Bears will still be going for their first win of the season when they step out of LHSAA District 3-1A play to host District 1-1A Arcadia High School Friday at 7 p.m.
Block fell to 0-8 overall and 0-4 in district play after being shut out by still-undefeated Logansport High School 60-0. Surprisingly, the Bears stayed at No. 28 in the LHSAA Class 1A power ratings.
Arcadia fell to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in its district after losing at home to Jonesboro-Hodge High School 48-14. The Hornets are not that far ahead of Block in the Class 1A power ratings at No. 25.
