Delta Charter looks to bounce back against Cedar Creek

FERRIDAY — Two teams coming off tough losses last week will face each other this Friday when Delta Charter School travels to Ruston, La. to take on the Cedar Creek School Cougars. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Delta Charter let a 20-10 halftime lead to St. Frederick High School slip away on homecoming night and the Storm eventually fell to the Warriors 31-26 to drop to 2-6 overall and 1-4 in district play. Delta Charter went down to No. 24 in the Class 1A power ratings.

Cedar Creek will be looking to bounce back at home after a stunning 27-24 loss at Sicily Island High School last Friday night. The Cougars fell to 4-5 overall and 1-4 in district play. Despite the loss, they stayed at No. 14 in the Division IV power ratings.
