JONESVILLE — Services for Emily Mae Russell, 93, of Jonesville, who died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, in Jonesville, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Utility Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. James Foster and the Rev. Mike Russell officiating.
Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Jonesville under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Russell was born Jan. 2, 1925, in Sturgis, Ky., the daughter of Clarence James Bryant Hunt and America Mason Hunt.
She was a member of Utility Baptist Church.
Russell was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Susan Darlene LaPararie; two brothers, Buster and Eugene Hunt; and two sisters, Lucille Hunt and Mary Agnes Cain.
Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Joseph Darby Russell; three sons, Joseph C. Russell and wife, JoAnn, Douglas Wayne Russell and James Randall Russell and wife, Lisa, all of Jonesville; son-in-law, Donald Wayne LaPrarie of Jonesville; two sisters, Mildred Bloodworth of Waterloo, Ill., and Viti Lea Tackett and husband, Floyd, of Cabot, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Russell, Josh Russell, Matthew Russell, Charlie Coates, Phillip LaPrarie and Mark Russell.
