NATCHEZ — Services for Willie “Mae” Minor, 74, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bishop Larry Minor officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.   
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home’s Natchez chapel and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Minor was born Feb. 1, 1945, in Natchez, the daughter of Levi Dyer and Henrietta Martin.
She was educated in the Jefferson County School District.
Minor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alton Minor Sr.; one granddaughter, Valorie Minor; five sisters, Rosa Lee Betts, Sarah Griffin, Alice Tyler, Ollive Johnson and Mary Fitzgerald; and two brothers, Alfred James Whitley and John Dyer.
Survivors include six loving children, Mary Jones, Alton Minor Jr., William Minor Sr. and wife, Kathy, Mamie Minor, Joseph Minor and wife, Cheryl, and Iranus Minor Robinson and husband, Christopher; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
