Chance of snow? Say it ain’t so

I am not sure if Natchez has ever seen snow this early in November, but — believe it or not — the National Weather Service is forecasting a slim chance of snow showers after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. If it happens, you will have to get up before 8 a.m. when any precipitation will change to rain. No chance of it sticking.

With a low around 32 degrees and a north wind around 15 mph it will be cold tonight, but not as cold as what is in store for the area Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning in effect for late Wednesday night through Thursday morning, when temperatures are forecast to drop to a low around 27 degrees. Expect widespread frost.
